The University of Toronto’s International Summer Theatre Program is a joint undertaking between University College and The Centre for Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies. The program is administered by specialized employees at the University College offices.

Established in 1853, University College is the oldest of The University of Toronto’s seven St. George Campus colleges (in downtown Toronto).

The Centre for Drama, Theatre, and Performance Studies, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, has trained countless internationally renowned Canadian theatre and entertainment artists, including Maev Beaty, Yanna McIntosh, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, Jessi Cruickshank, and Lisa Ryder.

All academic curricula for the International Summer Theatre Program are designed by The Centre for Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies. Instructors for the program are all highly experienced practitioners in their fields with many years of experience working in theatre communities across the globe.
